The Rapace GTX is a lightweight mountaineering boot that combines durable nubuck with waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® protection.

The Rapace GTX features our 3F System for ankle support, flexibility, and a perfect fit, as well as increased rear ankle mobility thanks to the Flex Collar. The Vibram® WTC outsole has aggressive lugs for good traction, ensuring a natural gait and maximum safety on rock, and the Bilight technology midsole provides longer-lasting cushioning compared to traditional soles.
Inside the boot, SALEWA's Bilight TPU technology in the midsole ensures ergonomic roll and long-lasting cushioning for extra comfort. The Rapace GTX is also stiff enough for use with hybrid/semi-automatic crampons. Plus, the GORE-TEX® Performance Comfort membrane ensures optimal thermal comfort if the weather turns bad and there is a full rubber rand for protection against rocks and stones.
